Our season of home schooling has come to an end. I had to grieve the decision at the same time trusting God to lead the way. And that is what all the options and choices boil down to-Trusting God to lead the way, and letting Him.

Lol, I don't even know what to say about homeschooling. I am a product of public school including public/state universities. Homeschooling is not something I EVER thought I would be doing. It's not that I was opposed to it, it's more like I never even thought of it-it never occurred to me. It was outside the realm of my awareness. We are not "accidental homeschoolers" folks who didn't like their school or whose child had some problems (behavioral, bullying, struggling with learning) that couldn't be addressed in a traditional classroom setting.
When we first started tossing the idea around-I was like "not that we'd really do that, but if we did, it could help________". And I knew that God was moving and working when my husband (also a product of public schools) agreed to consider it and look into it with me. What?!? So that's what we did, and for our family in this season of our life homeschooling is precisely what we do. Following God is truly an adventure. If you can trust Him and follow His lead into the scary/unknown, you will not be disappointed! God is the ultimate Creator and author of amazing adventures and drama.
