Now glory be to God!
By his mighty power at work within us,
he is able to accomplish infinitely more
than we would ever dare to ask or hope.

A peek inside our homeschool

This kid always wants to sit on the floor.  The red box is full of his school stuff-toys, games, puzzles and the occasional worksheet that I rotate each day in an effort to keep his interest up and to keep him occupied.

Um, this is a CLEAN blanket.  Thanks a lot!

Cut. Cut. Cut.  Looks like learning about triangles on this day.  And wait, he's actually in a chair, at his desk!  Wow!

Oh back to the floor again.  He sorted the blocks by color and then divided them up into football teams.

Much of our homeschool takes place outside.  This is a road trip to see friends that live in the mountains.

Attempting to flip up and catch the skateboard.

Some of the fall foliage we saw on the way home from the mountains.

Computer time for S.  J loves to watch his brother's lessons.

Soon these manipulatives were sorted into football teams.

A screen shot of S's practicing his spelling at Spelling City.

J watching S play a matching game at Spelling City.

Learning about coins.

Showing different ways to make the same amount.  This handout is from Time4Learning and goes along with S's computer work/lessons.

Thanksgiving week, we had more than one pajama day!  I love homeschooling.

Paste. Paste. Paste.

Cut. Cut. Cut.  Watch out where you put your fingers!

And that is just a little peek inside our homeschool, in our first season of home education.
