Now glory be to God!
By his mighty power at work within us,
he is able to accomplish infinitely more
than we would ever dare to ask or hope.

17 summers.

This author articulates something that has been on my heart, a lot, recently.

And as the older adoptive mom (let's just say I'm not in my twenties any more) of older children, I don't even have 17 summers.  I have less than that.   This is a contributing factor to our decision to homeschool.

I have missed so much.  So much time with my children.  It makes my heart sad.  However, I cannot focus on that, on what I've missed.  All I can do is focus on what I have, now.  Enjoy each moment.  Live life to the fullest.  It is hard.  It is exhausting.  And yet, it is everything.  I waited a long time to become a mom.  I pray that I don't waste a moment.

Check out Busyness:  The Thief of Family Memories and be inspired.  I know I am.
