Jesus speaking to His disciples and to us:
The Friend,
the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send at my request, will make
everything plain to you. He will remind you of all the things I have
told you.27 I’m leaving you well and whole. That’s my parting gift to you. Peace.
I don’t leave you the way you’re used to being left—feeling abandoned,
bereft. So don’t be upset. Don’t be distraught. (The Message)
But the Helper
will teach you everything and will cause you to remember all that I
told you. This Helper is the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in
my name.27 “I leave you peace; my peace I give you. I do not give it to you as the world does. So don’t let your hearts be troubled or afraid. (the New Century Version)
26 But the Advocate,
the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you
all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. (New International Version)
6 But the Helper,
the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach
you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to
you. 27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (New King James version)
26 But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.27 “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid. (New Living Translation)
5 I have told you these things while I am still with you.26 But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby),
the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to
represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And
He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your
remembrance) everything I have told you.27 Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do
not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop
allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit
yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.] (Amplified Bible)

Friend.
Helper.
Advocate.
Comforter.
Counselor.
Intercessor.
Strengthener.
Standby.
Peace-giver.
Pretty amazing, isn't it?
So grateful.
Random thoughts from a woman who wears many hats...Christ follower, wife, mom, working professional, friend, most of the time herbivore, sometimes raw foodist... trying to juggle it all, keep it together and look good doing it. Taking life one day at a time.
Now glory be to God!
By his mighty power at work within us,
he is able to accomplish infinitely more
than we would ever dare to ask or hope.
Ephesians 3:20
